Our Story

Joya Flor was born on the shores of La Jolla California with an idea to challenge the beauty industry to do better, to be cleaner. Cleaner for you and the planet.  Our personal beauty should not come at the cost of our planet. We believe holistic health is about balance, internally and externally. Our beauty products should follow the same balanced approach. They should be harvested ethically and without impact to the earth. That is how the Joya Flor journey began. As a challenge to improve an industry that is fad focused with far too large a reliance on plastic. 

 

Our products are formulated using clean, sustainably sourced raw materials by industry experts and produced in the United States, lowering our carbon footprint. Our formulators, in partnership with medical experts, craft products that are efficacious and backed by science. We use natural ingredients like Broad Spectrum Hemp Oil, Aloe Vera, Mango butter, Avocado Oil, Sea Kelp, Rosemary, and Lavender to craft beauty products that are effective and gentle on your skin.

 

Our team, manufacturing partners and vendors have worked for some of the largest consumer goods companies in operation today. Our leadership has over 60+ years experience working on brands like Aveeno, Neutrogena, Le Petite Marseille, Lubriderm, SK-II, Olay, L’Oréal, Glow Girl, bareMinerals and many more. We know beauty, we know it can do better and we are here accepting the challenge.
